  • Agreed that competition only helps us users

  • Battle hardened > new

Unless the new has a killer feature set worth the trade off in potential bugs

  • Exactly. It was also that trade in program that was their undoing.

  • It would though and their paper shows as much. The thing many forget is that it isn't trained visually like us. Little input changes like this have a big impact.

Now eventually if everyone uses the same glazing method the training won't care but at the moment this is bespoke enough that it can't be trained well on it. It will always be an arms race though.

  • I'm not sure what your experience is with the training data but that would absolutely effect the inputs.

  • Minority Report had some glass storage stuff that was fun to see. He would insert a glass slide into the machine.

  • That might be because the people posting are also marking them as undetermined. I'm definitely guilty of that

  • The sun is at an angle, check the bridge shadow again. It's almost 45° from the bridge position. Makes sense we can't see the plane shadow.

This is just parallax messing with our perspective. Scrub quickly and you'll see it's moving. It's slower since it's coming in for a landing at SFO.

  • I definitely don't support nazi and far right nonsense but I don't think deplatforming does anything except drive those people and their users into deeper echo chambers.

  • An actual problem to worry about too. I think there will always be people looking to contribute but as less people do AI may actually get dumber until they figure out how to train AI with AI

  • Cool so in this thread about this specific incident you want to have a general discussion about war coverage in the West but without listing a single thing

  • No because the event we are talking about here is a woman's body being dragged around. We're not talking about the entirety of the conflict right now.

  • My thoughts exactly. I welcome my scooter bros.
