  • There was a football player named Tom Dempsey who had half a foot. Because of this, he had a special shoe that had a flat front and was basically a sledgehammer. And he was a kicker. He held the distance record for field goals for years. But they changed the rules to say you had to have a normal toe on your kicking shoe. Just some similar sports trivia I guess.

  • This is interesting because brain size I would think might lead to more dementia and Alzheimer's. At least when I was in college, the common thought was that brain swelling caused plaques to form because the brain was resting against the skull. Would love to hear from someone who knows more than me though.

  • My mom bought my brothers and I a Nintendo 64 one year, but our TV didn't have RCA jacks. Fortunately my dad was a nerd and spliced the video cable to once of those Atari adapters that you screwed to the back of the TV. We didn't have audio for the first two years we owned the console lol.

  • When I was in college, I would go to micro center and buy the cheapest printer there, getting the warranty for $2.99. Run out of ink? Return it as defective and get a new printer with the gift card, paying $2.99 for the warranty again. So I paid $2.99 for ink for all 4 years of college.
