  • There is the tiniest, infinitesimal amount of value in the statement that, likely because of the way we’re all graded in school, we don’t really use the full range of a 1-10 scale for attractiveness, and are sorta only really saying ugly, mediocre, attractive, or model.

There is zero value in saying that that’s an issue and the solution is a psychopathic and dehumanizing system.

  • No I’d much rather the sour grapes act than the fascist 101 “I’m going to speak all civil and try to make you appear unreasonable for being so aggressive against me”.

You don’t get rid of fascists or tankies through tolerance and acceptance after all.

  • I make no such posturing, because I don’t give a rat’s ass what you think of me. I’m not dedicating my life’s work to.. making other internet less pleasant for everyone else? Because you can’t possibly be so deluded as to think your actions as a whole are positive?

Anyways, there’s no chance in hell lil smoothbrain me is going to convince any of you enlightened geniuses of our time to pull your heads out of your collective asses. I’m just annoyed you make the meme machine worse.

  • It’d be lovely if you could just see the hexbear powerusers somewhere convenient and mass block. I went through a couple subreddits of theirs, found the top posts, blocked everyone with more than 50 upvotes. Real pain in the ass, but I suddenly have far fewer teenagers who peaked in middle school debate club to deal with.

  • That jesus dude had some pretty liberal thoughts. Buddhism was a nice reaction to the caste system. The method of delivery may not be inherently moral, but it is possible to manipulate a population in a way overall beneficial to society.

  • The apocryphal story is that beds used to be supported/made of many ropes that would regularly need to be tightened to maintain form. So it was a reminder to snug up on these ropes.
