  • The real problem I have with conditions embedding themselves in how I define myself is with the depression rather than the unemployment. I've only been unemployed a little over thirteen months. The depression is a chronic problem I've experienced on one level or another for roughly twenty years. Between the two, the depression definitely strikes deeper to the core. It’s just that the current episode is pretty tough to deal with as long as I am dealing with the isolation created by this unemployment.

  • I'm distracting ya, you big turd blossom!

  • That plop at the end really sells it.

  • Fucking A. I have a stutter, so it made me quite happy this guy didn't overlook speech disabilities. Being forced to use the phone is such a pain in the ass.

  • Still unemployed. Still in the middle of a depressive episode because of this.

  • Reddit probably didn't make the API for RPAN available to third parties.

  • So he's saying that non citizens are not subject to the jurisdiction of the US? So they all get diplomatic immunity?

  • The vast majority of businesses headquartered in the state, including two-thirds of Fortune 500 companies, don't have a physical presence there.

    What.

  • Safety regulations are written in blood.

My interest in this community stems from having a stutter, depression, and social anxiety. I also work in web development and am always interested in learning more about web accessibility. For the most part, my conditions don't affect my ability to use the web, so I always feel like there's lots of room to grow there. (Too bad the folks at Reddit don't care much about that. Looking forward to the blackout.)

  • How do they define "accessibility app". It sounds like almost every third party app is more accessible than the official app. So they're all addressing accessibility needs.
