If you search for "kids clothing", when it goes to pull ads to put above the results, it fuzzes the search phrase for synonyms. So for example if TJ Maxx has purchased ads for "kidswear", that's a semantic match, so they'll show the TJ Maxx ads even though it's not one of the exact keywords they picked.

  • No. If you're working with life-critical systems, you only apply patches that are relevant to you. For example, an implantable insulin pump with Bluetooth capability. If there's a patch that changes the Bluetooth functionality, but you don't use that functionality, there's no point in applying the patch.

  • Generally no, there's one set of lights for each lane. And green circle means "you can go in any direction according to your lane".

There are lights with multiple columns, but they're rare. I can only think of one around here off the top of my head, and that's because it's on my commute home. It's part of a weird six-way intersection where I can take a right either on my green arrow or on the green circle along with the lane to my left going straight (but we share a red). (This is also signed "no right on red", but that's pretty common around here.)

Green arrow means it's a protected turn, i.e. oncoming traffic has a red.

  • Authorities began investigating this week after receiving anonymous tips alerting them to social media posts showing what appears to be Impellizzeri “in a school setting performing sexual acts with inanimate objects at the school,” according to the prosecutor’s statement.

Sounds like he did it for the social media attention.

  • Yeah, I was picturing the big 40lb dog food bags. Those look like 20lb of dog food at most in the big ones. It's not useful at best, and misleading at worst. If they had just said "2.5gal plastic bags" (which is exactly what the purple zipper ones are, 2.5gal Hefty freezer bags) it would have been far more useful, because not only is it accurate, it's more familiar to more people.

  • The restricted area is basically the entire grounds, excepting one parking lot and the front of what looks like an office building.

Restricted area means an area, access to which is limited by the licensee for the purpose of protecting individuals against undue risks from exposure to radiation and radioactive materials.

If you look at it on Google Street view, you can see a "restricted area" sign on the fence right next to the highway.
