  • I'm so sorry for your loss friend. I can absolutely understand. My wife and I didn't talk much about end-of-life care or what to do when she's gone, I think largely because she knew how hard it was for me and she wanted to avoid causing me more pain. So we lived a lot in the moment, but I wish I had been stronger.

  • This is probably a good time to mention that Lower Decks is what got my wife and I through her cancer diagnosis and treatment. I'm sure we watched season 1 and 2 a dozen times each.

    I've been meaning to write a letter to the Lower Decks team to thank them.

    It always used to make her laugh when Rutherford said "Implant stuff!" because it meant something similar for her.

    This has been a PSA to hug your families. You never know how much time you have with them. She was 34.
