  • Trump appointed Milley to his position in 2018. Milley said in an interview published last week in The Atlantic that Trump asked him when he offered him the position as chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff if he was “soft on transgenders.”

“I’m not soft on transgender or hard on transgender,” he says he replied. “I’m about standards in the U.S. military, about who is qualified to serve in the U.S. military. I don’t care who you sleep with or what you are.”

Trump announced his ban on transgender people serving openly in the military in 2017, which his administration defended in courts for years until the Biden administration got rid of it in 2021.

“Trump’s attitude toward the uniformed services seemed superficial, callous, and, at the deepest human level, repugnant,” Milley said in the interview.

I can see why Republicans hate him.

  • "I fired them because I disliked the color of their...car. Yeah that's it."

You can be fired for any reason, including illegal ones, because it's so easy to just give a different reason officially.

  • It's not a contract, because the parties involved didn't all get a chance to agree to it before hand.

Everyone gets automatic entry and can leave any time they want. If they decide they don't agree to it there's nothing keeping them from shrugging off the good graces of society. I think that's pretty fair.

  • India has aligned itself with China, Russia, Brazil, and South Africa. All countries that have been kicked out of the international adults table

...because their leadership act like babies.

Second quote is me completing the original. Why did you cut that last part of the sentence out?

You are aware you just counted 40% of the world population, and with them comes 20% more? So you dismissed more than half of human population in one sentence?

Ah that's why. Yeah no they didn't. They were talking about the people leading those countries, not the entire population.

Let's not even talk about racist part, which I hope is not intentional, when you take a look of who left on your "interational adult table".

It's racist to call someone of another race "boy".

It's not racist to say that a country's leadership is acting childish. Heck it would actually be racist if someone were to say "all Indians are childish." But that's not what happened.

People call other people childish all the time without a hint of racist intent.

  • fuck you for continuing this narrative that violence against people you don't like is ok.

    They never said this.

I'm sure you'll retort with him associating with fascists or providing kill lists (which is bullshit if you look into it) or being a "stochastic terrorist" (what the fuck even is that).

They never said this, and you're REALLY gonna want to learn what stochastic terrorism is if you want to join intelligent conversation about modern politics.

It's insane to me that your argument against Rogan is about not supporting anarchist guerilla warfare.

    They never said this.

  • I find it harder to be upset about what an artist does with their work because they're the sole creator and didn't exploit anyone to make it. The limited release stuff doesn't sound great but none of the artists I follow do that, I certainly wouldn't support them if they did. If they're planning to never release the art ever again then I think there's a fair argument to be made for piracy, although if you're just waiting for the month to turn over to look at it guilt free, well, I think you're just trying to justify it to yourself.
