This I never understood.

Amazon basically has an international presence. Amazon could easily allow a seller to ship to a local Amazon logistics location and then Amazon shipping could just handle the rest, perhaps with a slightly higher shipping fee.

That's how these types of collapses work though.

Everything just barely holds together and then the literally straw that breaks the camel's back hits and then it all goes to shit in an instant.

They're keeping it together but at what cost? We can clearly see the social and demographic cost that will hit in a decade, we can see the economic costs hitting but how long till that manifests into something they can't policy their way out of is a big question.

Well with sports games at least its "a realistic part of the experience"

Like when you watch a live sporting event on TV, there's always commericals in-between the action. In that sense it fits the meta.

Also, sports games are the worst, pay 80 bucks every year for an updated roster and tweaks to the mechanics.

I have fond memories of doing that when ROTK first released and my local cinema ran the full trilogy as LOTR marathon.

I would love to relive that memory.

Frankly this is all of them.

They only care about Palestine insofar as it furthers their own political goals. Its low hanging fruit for them to stroke the religious and nationalistic fires in their people and redirect their attention away from issues like the economy and civil rights.

Here are a few reasons why thats not true

1. People talking about these guys being dumbasses does not equate to people taking climate change seriously.
2. There is limited bandwidth for publicity, these morons are taking publicity away from people actively doing the research, enacting changes, building things the help mitigate climate change.
3. They give the opportunity for climate change deniers to lump all climate change activists together with these idiots, allowing them to replace the message of "Act against climate change" to look at all these dumbass climate change activists.

No need to worry. That problem eventually resolves itself as any sub that fails to submerge will eventually get sunk by enemy action and successfully sink in the end.

This is the new normal for highly developed economies. The best they can hope for is a 1 to 1 replacement of their population. We're not likely to see another baby boom occur.

We're not going to see a typical population pyramid any more. Because that means a large infant death rate and either war, disasters or a massive suicide epidemic cutting away the young adult population to get the pyramid shape.

At this point I'm sure there's been numerous people who have written in to correct him and advise him of the inaccuracies. I'm sure by now he's had enough time to properly investigate the facts and why the modern consensus is the modern consensus, because of the available evidence.

By accepting it as a gift, you are now an accessory to the fact.

Old friend of yours is asking you to participate in destruction of property, doesn't matter how small or valueless it seems it's not yours to keep discard or destroy... You should be trying to find the rightful owner and returning said item.

These things while seemingly insignificant hold great value and meaning to their owners. I know this cause I'm a jeweller and I've had customers tell me how precious their jewellery can be.
