Ebooks are a tolerable alternative if there is no paper available.
I'm a fairly fast reader so audiobooks are way too slow paced for me and I don't like when they attempt to put emotions into their readings it always comes off as too inauthentic.
I believe those earlier studies did not factor the cancer risk from consuming very hot beverages. Apparently the damage to the cells of your mouth and throat from getting cooked causes mutations that could develop into cancer.
I would hazard a guess, it would be no different from getting your passport impounded. Your well being is your own responsibility regardless of your ability to travel overseas.
I guarantee that if the regulations didn't state a minimum of 2 hours or the need for black boxes, aircraft manufacturer would put a 1 minute tape recorder inside a foam box. If they even put in anything.
The frogs bred for consumption are typically bull frogs or pig frogs. These are not the endangered frogs. Endangered frogs are tiny, their entire body weight is probably less than a single leg of a bull frog and its not commercially viable.
The endangered frogs are native to places like South America, where they are suffering from a loss of habitat and from chemical pesticide/herbicide run off from farms that are killing them off.
In other regions they also suffer from light pollution.
I doubt its that the French are to blame, especially when east asia has a huge consumption of frog legs
If we could just be rid of this cancer already. It consumes ungodly amounts of energy from the most polluting fossil fuels and all for imaginary numbers that is only good for speculative investing, money laundering and enabling crime.
Oh man. I loved it. The complexity made me feel smart and I absolutely loved how everything tied together in the end. At one point I was certain they had over convoluted the story and there was no way they were going to make it coherent again, but I was wrong.
Starts a bit slow but damn. I enjoyed the intrigue, political manoeuvering, and characters. You start of disliking some of the characters but they grow on you as they mature throughout the series.
I had success with LinkedIn. I knew the exact company I wanted to work for(had been eyeing a role in said company for over 5 years)and applied for all the openings that were relevant to my skill set.
Got rejected on 4/5. But that's beside the point because the last one was a remote role and was a much higher position than the other 4.
Paper.

But that's just me, I'm a picky reader.
