But given that likes are typically only 10% of viewership, that means a video liked by 10 million probably has 100 million views. Which is about $1 million in ad revenue for just that video, assuming a low end payout of $0.01 per view.
Things would have to get massively shitty for that to happen. The volume of content on YouTube will be extremely difficult to replicate.
Just as a reference look at reddit. They've suffered a loss of users but they're not going down anytime soon and while lemmy still isn't going to take over anytime soon. There's just too much inertia...

They don't even have a navy capable of circumnavigating the korean peninsula, much less make the trip to Ukraine or the wrong side of Russia.
They have 2 transport aircraft, the bigger of the 2 has a max passenger capacity of 44 pax. Neither of those have the range to get near Ukraine when flying fully fueled, nevermind if it were fully loaded.
That's fine and I think its pretty much the perfect example of a solid professional relationship (no need to be buddies or "like a family") and what greatness can be achieved when you work with same endgame in mind. They may have disagreed plenty but only because they wanted to achieve the best outcomes possible.
While they are not friends, if you follow Adam on youtube, you'll realize there is a huge amount of mutual respect between the two, even to this day.
