Either way, I’m guessing the 7 NDP and 1 Green basically become de facto Liberals to create a pseudo majority since at least that way they’ll have some influence and it wouldn’t be in their best interest to topple the government and go through all this again.

Liberals will have massive leverage over the NDP and the Greens. Neither of them want an election immediately. The NDP need to get their house in order and the Greens have to figure out going forward.

I imagine the Conservatives are going to blow up into civil war. By any metric, the Conservatives had this in the bag. The Liberals had been in power for long enough for the public was getting tired of them. Sure, Trump's talk of annexing Canada wasn't predictable however the Conservatives had a golden opportunity to pitch themselves as the "National Unity" Party and fucked that up.

Sadly, the Conservatives are just going to double down on the same terrble policies and just ride the cultural war to victory.

The worse is the electronic billboards that change every 15 seconds or so.

Arresting judges is a good thing as judges aren't above the law. In a healthy, democracy an AG wouldn't be threatening judges with arrest, any investigation would be carried out in a proper manner, and there would be public hearings about everything. Politicans would wisely say "No comment" on any investigation.

In this case, the whole thing was engireed to send a message to the judicary "Play ball with us, or you're going to get arrested".

ICE had the ability to calmly walk into the court room, ID whoever they needed, wait until everything was done, and arrested the person out in the hall. Instead ICE went in and made a scene about it, to either force Judge Hannah Dugan to capitulate to ICE or to set up a situation where ICE could trump up obstruction charges.

Now, you have a facist AG openly saying:

“What has happened to our judiciary is beyond me. The [judges] are deranged is all I can think of. I think some of these judges think that they are beyond and above the law. They are not, and we are sending a very strong message today. If you are harboring a fugitive, we will come after you and we will prosecute you. We will find you.”

“If you are obstructing justice,” she added, “it will not be tolerated.”

Almost guaranteed that the defintion of obstruction is going to be streched to cover judges denying deportations to the El Salvadoran concentration camps.

What a nice, young whipper snapper of a politician. Going to be great to have someone that young.

Also, the letter E for "serve" in the second panel is almost completely merged with the line.

I enjoyed the lack of the quest markers. The thrill of exploring the wilderness, trying to find the location, and the haunting cries of a Cliff Racer.
