  • I'm a sync user and haven't had any issues, what breakage are you referring to?

  • No it won't. That's the next major release, this is just LW catching up.

  • Came here to say this. IKEA has some nice building blocks you can use to start this, and then just diverge where you need to.

Check out their online kitchen cabinet builder tool maybe.

  • Permanently Deleted

  • You could fire up wireshark and see if and when the traffic is actually originating from your PC, then it's just a matter of turning off extensions.

If it's not firefox, a tool like lsof will be helpful to see what pid is connecting out.

  • Pretty long. I went about a year on mostly soylent. The newer formulations are a lot easier on the digestive system.

You still need to consume water and you're still going to poop, just not as much.

  • Did you enable accept subnets or exit node?

Try doing a --reset --up and don't turn on any extra features.

  • This is postered on a wall near me. I got really offended until I walked closer and saw the smaller text.

Good job whoever came up with it.

  • These need to be links, not screenshots of headlines and social media pics. These need to be verifiable if you want people to trust / share them.

  • Just watched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rW0pjiFCHZU Yes it's the original 25% he's putting a hold on while they talk about things.

It sounds like the US said "We're struggling to control Trump, please don't escalate while we try to talk through it"

  • That's not how I read this, this seems to be suspending the initial 25% electricity surcharge.

  • I abhor the fact that status.lemmy.ca says anything other than 100% uptime.

  • Oh hold on, let me go fix that....

    1. Myself, Otter and the server are all in Vancouver. Smorks is out east and mp3 is in the middle of all of us. Between us we actually have pretty good coverage most days.
    2. Yes, if someone has professional SRE experience and wants to help out I'm open to it. There's very little on-going maintenance as things just run smoothly 99.999% of the time, but some additional eyes can't hurt and if someone wants to build new stuff there's things I'd like to do =)
    3. Betterstack at the moment, combined with some custom healthscript scripts which write to our discord and an improperly configured alert config on my phone that didn't wake me up.
    4. Oh neat, I didn't realize pagerduty had a free tier, I'll check it out.
    5. Nope. There haven't been issues that come up, execpt for this one stupid opnsense issue everything has been amazingly stable.
    6. To some degree yes.
  • I yoloed from a year old version up to the latest, it was fine.

  • It's both ways. They effectively break that link and become isolated from each other.

  • I think she's kinda like Harris in the US. She probably would have done a good job, but is too similar to (and tainted by) the person before. It's not worth the risk right now to choose her and lose to the cons.

  • Make sure to install a floor drain in case it floods. Put one under your laundry and dishwasher too if you can.
