  • They didnt use any code from TOTK (such would be piracy); they did however use it to improve the emulator via game specific patches before the release date (hinting some devs got the game less than legally, but not yuzu itself)

  • I mean being to smart was a weakness in yee days cause half our problems had no thinking solution, not being too strong has way less benefits - society is always changing and how 'good' something is is really only how we utilize it; ie others speak and an AI is able to translate the important bits if you miss them, timers that autoset themselves when youre cooking, projects are as easy to start and stop as blinking, and sweet Jesus Christ hopefully society will grow past the need for a million forms and appointments for anything important

(I compared my universities ADHD accessibility process to making the wheelchair accessibility office only accesable via stairs; theyre directly punishing what theyre supposed to help)

  • Crazy how you think surnames have anything to do with frying potatoes, what's the bag of starch gonna hit them with a pop quiz?

Cooperate propaganda really has done a number on you

  • But tbh I think the risk to reward ratio wouldn't be worth it for a bit still (at least until electronics get a bit more user friendly)

You'd have to be capable enough to be able to fuck around with microelectronics (which a convinced enough hobbiest could do), horny enough to put a large amount of that effort solely to being horny (even when youre smucking around in the stinky toilet electronics), confident enough to know you electronics will truely be undetectable (or just dumb/rich enough - though with greater risk), a bit sociopathic to not care about peoples privacy at all, and finally own a public enough place you can implement all this.

I feel like that's a reasonably small subset of people, so personally I'm willing to risk them catching a low res video of my shitty asshole.

That being said I dont want to discredit youre theory, just give my take on it

  • There's no way musk doesnt get nearly a billion death threats per day, but when your job is to be known by as many people as possible, it scales up the good and the bad.

But if either of them are having a bad day I'm sure they can dry their tears with a couple hundred dollar bills and sue some more poor people into dust (completely legally!) to make themselves feel better

  • "There's also ongoing work within the GNOME camp around VRR, enabling HDR on the desktop, etc. "

Right there. Right in the article dog. You think desktops dont render or something? And even without that you think they could have absolutely no valuable input being there?

All I gotta say is I only see one moron in this comment section and it ain't the root comment

  • (edit: might not be sole) Dev/moderator doesnt want a team but has some health issues presumably, so definitely can't manage it themselves. This is just the aftermath of a couple months of that

  • For sure, but its not close enough of a gap on average to reasonably consider dogs to have a massive impact, theyre much more dependent of a species than cats - especially highlighted by cats being an ambush predator
