I would argue that yuki is currently operating at the same level as a gasly or ocon - solid but not spectacular. What he has on both of them is age - he is far younger than both and hence has more room to improve. Would be a massive shame to see him go
The car is now midfield level. The team operations are not. So many bad strategy calls over the season. The worst of which was at zandavoort when yuki was battling Lewis and Lando and they hung him out to dry
These 3 have been better than him this year. Lewis has not felt one with car at several points this year and hence has not performed as consistently as the 3 above. I would say he is a close 4th
Well for me it auto updates and stages in the background. There is config file /etc/rpm-ostreed.conf in which you can set the AutomaticUpdatePolicy to stage. Then it will automatically check for updates once a day(I think) and will download and stage it. The update is then applied when you shutdown or reboot
Why did you find the need to use the rpm-ostree command¿? Isn't the purpose of immutability to use flatpaks and containers to get all your apps/software
Valve is not forcing us to run steam. It can't do that. What it can do is offer a very good product which makes us use it. If in the future, valve starts doing shitty things with steam, most of the community will just move on.
Also what the hell do you mean by consumer linux is steam¿?
But it was not an alpine only issue. Any car pushing could have had a snap like that and crash. Nando is just throwing shade at his old team and former teammate because he has a chance to. This is an issue of spacing in short tracks in sessions where all 20 cars are on the track at the same time
It seemed that merc ran the car a little higher to avoid plank wear. That would explain why they struggled even though they bolted a high downforce setup. Anyway it puts to rest the theory that they did not gain anything from running a illegally low setup in Austin.
He could have left much more room while still making the corner. Ultimately it was a freak accident but Alonso did ocon no favours there by giving him zero margin for error.
A plank check is not just taking out a ruler and checking the width of the plank. https://youtu.be/ldD0lWG1fjQ?feature=shared explains more about why this is more complicated than people think and hence why it is not feasible for the FIA to check all the cars
Edit : could somebody check the piped link below to see of it works for them. I use piped but the formula 1 channel and all its videos never load for me.
But Lewis and others unlapped themselves in 2021 at imola. I remember it being a major talking point of how Lewis was bailed out by the red flag
