This is what I've gathered so far.

Trump Admin: "remove your DEI programs and stop your students from protesting"

Harvard: "...no."

Trump Admin: "we'll pull your funding."

Harvard: "... Aight."

Trump Admin: "we'll also remove your immigrant students visas and dig into your old tax files to make sure you're not hiding anything like the un-American, unpatriotic, loser school you are!"

Harvard: "...k."

Trump Admin: "...!"

Harvard: "..."

Trump Admin: "... Hey actually that letter was not meant for you. Someone sent that and they weren't supposed to."

Harvard: "... Okay... You might want to address that."

Trump Admin: "Stop being so whiny and acting like a child about it. Get over it."

I feel like I'm screaming, "help" at the top of a mountain, yet nobody can hear me. I feel like almost all online interactions are false. I feel like my day to day life is shrinking from country scale to community to household scale. This is where we are divided and we don't care for another, but only ourselves. Not out of greed, but out of perceived necessity. It's all fake.

What's weird to me is that if this were any other person, there wouldn't be a potential of death penalty. We wouldn't have heard about it. Also, nobody would've fucking cared.

This gives off vibes of how Tom Green made a song called, "feel your balls" and it was a song about checking your balls for cancer.

View 1: you should follow chain of command as a unified command is necessary for military operations. Any personnel going against the direction is counted as rogue. (benefits military)

View 2: Public Relations of the country you are in requires the ability to deescalate situations and unwind tension, thereby requiring the communication of separation. (benefits local units and local community)

View 3: moral obligations of one's self pushes you to do the right thing. (benefits self and possibly local unit)

In my opinion, I believe this was an action of view 2 and also happened to include view 3. But that's just like... My opinion.
