  • Which particular set of Israeli policies are you supporting here?

The 10-15 civilian deaths per strike on a possible low level Hamas supporter?

The continued "accidental" killing of medical staff, including Red Cross and Red Crescent workers, and journalists?

The idea of turning off water and electricity from all of Gaza as a valid response?

The escalation of illegal settlement and theft of Palestinian property and land in the West Bank, with IDF support no less?

Or the use of the Hannibal Protocol against Israeli Civilians on October 8th by IDF forces?

Or do you just not think it is incumbent on the one with greater power and strength to offer the olive branch first if peace is truly desires? And in fact would rather the Palestinian people are smeared across an enlarged Israel?

  • But rich people, on the whole, cope better with economic downturns because they have more resources to play with and aren't living paycheck to paycheck.

So why would the mulch the rich crowd be celebrating?

  • Yeah, I feel prime numbers are more complete, like a sculpture. Even numbers feel like a pile of 2x2 cubes stacked by a toddler unless they have loads of factors (e.g. 24) which have a great mandalaesque sense of symmetry to them.

    121 is my favourite number.

  • That's fair and reasonable.

I'm curious about the risk-reward chart, where how much you'd both need to end up with at what chance/via what methods to make you be for it.

(I'm probably one who you'll disagree with a lot, as I think stealing can be OK.)

  • I didn't like the first series, and would've quit it at episode 3 or so but I ended up without internet access for a couple of days and the whole series downloaded... It got better.

But yeah, life's too short for TV shows that take time to be taken on faith. And if you did finish the first series and still not like it, more power to you.

  • Invidious is an alternative to YouTube. It scrapes the content and presents it to you without trackers or googlerithms, or adverts.

So obviously in a big cat-mouse game with Google over it working or not.

Edit: it's federated, I think - or at least instance based, so anyone* can set one up and stick it online.

*anyone with servers and the hacker chops to be a network admin

  • Complicated. Big.

A collection of a wide range of geography, languages, and peoples. Held together by a mix of national pride, iron fist, and a solid record of on the whole very good for most people improvements in life quality in living memory.

Big. Brazen. Splashy. But with an inability to face problems, and a resignation to the world as is. An almost fatalistic attitude paired with naïve or blind optimism on its dexter side.

A place filled with potential, as well as already existing food, culture, history. But hard to find much of it as modernity does a speed run towards uniformity and mass production, while historical sites are rebuilt as poured concrete facsimiles.

  • Myanmar/Burma is more complicated than that.

The PRC also arms groups that are independent from the Tatmadaw (sp?) gov., primarily the Wa State Army.

Thailand is more direct and focused in its aid for the military dictatorship.

Although I think China has been providing much more of the air and drone weapons that the miliatry dictators have been using to punish bomb the people of the region.

  • Alas, very little good.

Civil war for the last few years, with China flooding the area with arms via the Wa, who've been de facto independent for a long time and the PRC's go between in the area.

Lots of ethnic groups and mostly continued interethnic violence and indepent movements for a long time. This is linked to the Rhoyinga (sp?) getting shunted into camps and pushed between countries.

Arakin Army is one of the big ones, along with the aforementioned Wa State.

China is now getting ready to send ground troops in, and set up favourable economic zones for Chinese economic imperial expansion.

Also famous for scam centres which have been the focus of Thai and Chinese authorities lately, and had been making money for criminals from those countries and paramilitary groups.

  • Didn't he only treat one of each set of twins, and used a faulty method that has been supplanted?

In addition to all the lying and manipulating the parents to get them to agree and not ask many questions.
