  • Exactly, they changed nothing. They do not care about their consituents. As evidenced by the outcome of the election. Pressuring them to change wasnt ever going to change anything. The only thing it did is allow people to "both sides"

  • I agree. Now that we are not in an election year, it would be a good idea to attempt to do something about that. But spreading division in an election year is why we now have the worst possible outcome. Thats the glory of the two party system and the illusion of choice.

  • Alright, Ill accept that my phrasing was poor. Evidently I should've phrased it as "a user that I am not allowed to dox posted this bit of possible misinformation."

I figured there would be high enough reading comprehension to make my meaning clear, since I clearly framed it as possible misinformation in a thread about misinformation. Short of the comment i replied to, the thread did not actually state any of the misinformation that people were actually supposed to look out for.

  • Lmfao, teaching bad. Got it.

You act like I was spreading misinformation. Check my comment history and link one instantce of me spreading that as factual. Spoiler: you cant.

I literally informed in the comment you are referring to that it was unvalidated, and once again(i have to reiterate due to your low reading comprehension) I asked an expert.

We are on a forums website, the point is the spread of information. It is wildly unrealistic for me to fact check every claim I read, which is why the best option is to take unvalidated claims with a grain of salt.

Speaking of useful idiot spreading the last thing they misread, you may want to reread my entire comment thread. You clearly missed the entire framing of the conversation, to the point im questioning that you read it all beyond the first sentence, where you then assumed I was just parroting bullshit like your final statement.

  • Nah, thats the logical reasoning of a non two party system. Youre acting as though we actually had a choice, or that democrats would ever capitulate to their base. I hate kamala as much as the next guy, biden was even worse. But what other option was there? Vote Trump, dont vote, vote third party. All of which were a vote for Trump. There was ONLY one correct option in this election.

If you guys want a decent option, get rid of the two party system, because democrats will never seek to actually improve anything. But they will always be the better choice so long as Americans dont grow a backbone. Which is unrealistic.

  • Except i didnt "just post" it. I asked someone who seemed knowledgable. Pardon me for seeking correction.

Nb4 you tell me to "just google it" while putting on your signature look of superiority

Edit: better yet, i asked it in response to an incredibly vague post which offered no info on the claims actually being stated. So, what, everything posted about wikipedia is untrue? Well someone in this thread said its a good source of info, guess i need to disregard that too.

  • Nice, appreciate it. I would assume I mistve read one of the posters you were referring to. I didnt care enough to check myself, as I have never had enough money to donate in the first place. But wikipedia is in my top 4 most used websites, so your post caught my attention and you seemed to be educated enough on the situation to simply ask you. Seemed like a pointless he said/she said without your source though, hence requesting it.

  • I have heard A user I am not allowed to dox posted that wikipedia makes a ton of money, way more than neccassary to run the site. The excess is getting funneled into the pockets of millionaires, in the ballpark of 300m/y. _ Is this not true?_ With this further understanding, would you be able to link a source verifying/disproving this claim?

To be clear, I have always been pro wiki, it stunned me when I read that.

Edit: had to do some formatting to emphasise a couple bits for the less reading inclined among us

  • Inteoduce cabin spiders. They reproduce faster than your cat can get them, and theyll hang out where your cat cant get to them. They literally cannot harm you at all, and their population will explode proportionally to their prey, and it will go down when theres less prey. They are one of the largest consumers of other spiders too.
