  • Ukraine doesn't want to use the same meatwave tactics as Russia. It's not the same as having a recruitment problem. Ukrainian soldiers are also way more motivated than the Russians who, are advancing very slowly and at huge cost.

The reason Russia is advancing at all is because Russia is prepared to suffer catastrophic numbers of dead and wounded to take a field and Ukraine is prepared to loose a field or two if it means conserving their population. The two methods for Ukraine to regain their territory are to either use a massive portion of their population in meatwave attacks or to cause a collapse of government within Russia. The latter is much quicker and more effective long term.

Russia has a population of 140ish million people all of which are viewed as expendable by Putin. Recruiting more meat won't help. Long range ordinance to fuck up russas logistics routes and oil infrastructure will absolutely help. So shut your cock-pocket and scurry back to your basement in the Kremlin.

  • America has always been tolerated for political reasons. But noone in Europe has ever really looked up to the USA. You were useful to keep good relations with, (good in a fight). But you've always been regarded as loud, uncultured, and disturbingly patriotic. And honestly, if you look back at Europe's history, we're not exactly afraid of a fight.

Stay the fuck out of Greenland and Canada, and come talk to us when you elect a grownup.

  • Wether or not you believe them to be guilty of supporting a genocide, they never publicly said they'd turn Gaza into a beach resort in which Palestinians are not welcome to live. Least harmful option even in the case of Palestine. The correct thing is to vote for Harris and then protest relentlessly to try and get through to them. But now you have a dictator who doesn't care about public opinion as long as he can line his pockets. It probably won't be long before they start shooting protesters so good luck changing anything when that happens.

  • Please understand that the democrats are further right than most countries mainstream right wing parties in Europe noone really likes that Germany elected the CDU (politically similar to the democrats) but we're all very pleased that afd didn't get a majority. Vote for the least damaging candidate and work on the system by protesting. Noone thinks Biden and Harris are saints, they're just the least harmful option.

  • Because they worry (with good reason) that in a first past the post voting system, splitting the liberal votes from the left votes will mean that every single seat in the house and senate will go to the republicans. As shit as the democrats are, they aren't dyed in the wool fascists. The republicans do enough damage with a simple majority. With a two thirds majority they can start making changes to the constitution. And the very structure of the government.

  • Evil has always been there. People have a tendency to turn a blind eye when it isn't directed at them. Recently it's very much been directed at Europe and North America. It brings the problems of the world into sharp focus.

  • Back in the 90s a British doctor called Andrew Wakefield was bribed by a pharmaceutical company that made separate vaccines for measles, mumps and rubella to come up with a study to discredit the combined mmr vaccine. He found a bunch of parents in an antivax society and twisted the results of a very weighted questionnaire to demonstrate a link between MMR and the 'tism. It was quickly discredited, but the damage was done. He was stripped of his medical licence after that.
