Have you ever read the unclassified annual threat assessment? There is an official report the intelligence comminity puts out every year detailing what other nations are doing around the world. And that's just what theyre allowed to tell us.
Ive read it, and if you look at what they detail out for chinas militarzation moderniation plans, theres not many reasons theyre doing what theyre doing unless to compete with the USA. Not to mention, chinas going faster than what originally was thought, and theyre becoming less reliant on other nations to do it. Thats just 1 nation. The usa has stuck its nose in too many peoples business that if they stop the arms race, there could be a lot of nations coming knocking. Weve painted ourselves into a corner (or at least have the perception of it).
Edit: all that said, theres definitely ways to be more fiscally responsible with our military spending... just look at the f35 or the sentinel program
Id argue the real sense of worry is by living a life style below your means. As someone who has had to live pay check to paycheck, but has been fortunate enough to have a substantial increase in salary, dont spend all your money. If you dont change your habits with new money, the worry will fade away.
You can stop keeping strict budgets on things and make them more vague. As long as savings account keeps going up, the worry fades
Thats why you need both the senate and the house. Impeachment means nothing if you dont have both chambers because you need the other to actually enforce the impeachment
For me, it wasnt even the education of college. It was being in the dorm and around ao many different people. Finally being around people different than me taught me so much so fast

Our company tried to cut our house keeping services, and told us we needed to empty trash cans ourself. You bet your sweet ass i made sure everyone charged their engineering charges to "house keeping" for those few minutes. We got house keeping back in about 2 months
As a father, that last bit doesnt ring as an admission of guilt as much as it does that hes experiencing self reproach. Hes not going to blame his daughter, so the only option left in his mind is that its his fault

Most people dont know what the terms mean, let alone the terms on their actual loan. When i bought my new car, i paid less than $300 in total interest across the 4 year loan. Understanding those financial terms is so beneficial. We really need to teach it better to high schoolers
Our education system is shit, which is part of the problem. So many people don't understand the concepts of compounding interest and what debt will actually do to them in the long run.
My wife took on so much debt because no one ever explained to her what she was doing. She applied for a loan and got it, went to school. Shes an attorney now, but has amassed so much debt we will never be able to pay it off. We're on the income based plan, her loan payment is more than our mortgage, and we aren't even covering interest. Loan forgiveness is our only hope
Im not going to pretend to know legal strategy or that the media is conveying what hes saying. He has entered a "not guilty" plea, so you could say that hes saying it wasnt him. Other than that, ive heard no actual statement from him or his attorney on the matter
