That wasn't my point. The point is to not let lack of progress in one area detract from progress in another. I agree that the minimum wage is way too low, but that shouldn't influence an attempt to cap rent increases.

Anecdotally, every bar fight I've almost been in has been with ohio state fans. The thing I'd like to see more of is people (outside of here) admitting they're voting for Biden even tho he's not ideal. We all know who trump is, and Biden gets a lot of flack, and I think it's going to persuade a lot of people from going out and voting.

People need to know that it's acceptable, encouraged even, to vote for the guy who isn't as bad, even if you don't like him. Just because you don't agree with everything he says or does, you agree with him more than the other guy.

The problem is that you can replace him with a better candidate, but that doesn't mean the new candidates chances of winning are better. The DNC has to put up the candidate that gives the best chance of winning, not necessarily the best candidate.

And people will go to a school because they're fans of the football team, or send their kids there because they're fans of the team. To act like the sports programs do nothing to help the university, or their athletes is disingenuous
