  • The "sale" price you see here is effectively the "standard" price. Publishers know that most users will just wait for a sale to make their purchase, and that those too desperate to wait will be willing to pay any inflated "full" price they set.

  • Yeah, it was released for all three major consoles that generation. Not sure why OP said just PS2. I think I replayed it on Dolphin, but other emulators probably work also.

  • Also Korn's dubstep album. Not every song was a hit, but there were quite a few bangers on that track list. Get Up got me into dubstep and still goes hard.

I just listened to it again, and it is definitely not as good as I remember it being. I was a fan of it, but I can definitely see how fans of either Korn or dupstep would have disliked it. "Get Up!" in particular is still just as good as I remember, though!

  • Their download page lists different payment tiers that include things like "Unlimited tracks" and "Z Series plugins". I presume you get those features for a limited time with the trial.

On the other hand, I presume all those features are available to you perpetually if you build it yourself from source instead of installing from a prebuilt binary.

  • Owned? The kid just bought stock.

  • I always get a Spigen with a kickstand.

  • People in my organization do this, and it's great. The only downside to that is when you want recipients to know exactly who else the email was sent to. Not super common, in my experience, but it does occur.

  • Regular people on the other hand, are lazy, inconsistent and generally oblivious to whether or not they're being ambiguous.

  • I can't find it now, but there was a meme about that here. How 20 years ago vs present the two are flipped.

  • So the answer is "if/when they come out"?

  • Imagine your toast not popping up because your toaster started updating itself randomly.

  • I think they mean that the sticker makes it stand out, putting the model/brand into your conscious mind. If a Macbook is displayed normally onscreen, it is just some prop that you might not pay any additional attention to at all. Sure, you unconsciously know that it is an Apple product, but that fact is not at the front of your mind at all. With the Apple logo covered, you still know that it is an Apple product all the same, but you are actually consciously thinking about fact.

  • Lol I know you meant that as Igor, but I totally ready that as Igor at first

  • TIL iOS finally got widget support a few years ago

  • In my mind, Voyager was always on the forefront with features compared to other Lemmy clients. I'm surprised it took this long to implement this!

  • The vultures at the zoo got to it first.

  • I agree that using a code block is not the right way to handle quotes, but you can control the syntax highlighting in a markdown code block by adding a language identifier.
