  • Just reads like a non-native english speaker wrote it.

  • Watching Genocyber on acid when I was 19 left some psychological scars I still carry around. Highly recommended.

  • Paranoia wtf? I've formed my opinions from my life experiences, are you trying to tell me you've done peer reviewed research to decide what makes a good relationship?

  • I was with my wife for 10 years before I proposed. We have the best relationship of anyone we know. I know plenty of people who married after a couple of years and are fucking miserable.

  • This is terrible advice. Most people's "gut" reactions are heavily based on external influences like peer group pressure, media influence and upbringing.

    Practice critical thinking.

  • If you're in a good relationship but they leave because they couldn't wait 4 years to get married, then you fucking dodged a bullet. Jesus fucking christ.

  • Find a skill based hobby that you love and practice it every week. Stuff like a sport, musical instrument, art, etc. The hobby itself will be rewarding but there is no substitute for having decades of experience under your belt for these kind of activities.

    Also, don't have children.

  • I just reeled back in my chair, this is literaaly me.

  • I've been a programmer for decades and I still sometimes look at code I wrote 6 months ago like what the fuck was I thinking. Code is as much art as science.

  • These two having any kind of conversation would be fucking hilarious. Absolute opposite ends of the spectrum of narcisstic assholes, they would both go insane trying to out alpha each other while being completely unable to communicate in any way that made sense to each other.

  • lol only Melbourneites still smoke enough for there to be a black market in cigarettes.

  • Bandcamp. Pay the fucking artists you listen to.

  • Such a niche reference, but so good. If you know it you can't not hear the voice.

  • "I bomb atomically, Socrates' philosophies and hypotheses can't define how I be dropping these mockeries"

  • Are you a legal expert? Is the fact that this is "art" not a more complex legal issue?

edit: Quote from the article: "Mona’s legal team will be relying on the tribunal’s interpretation of section 26 of Tasmania’s Anti-Discrimination Act, under which a person is permitted to discriminate against another person in a situation designed to promote equal opportunity for a group of people who are disadvantaged or have a special need because of a prescribed attribute – in this case gender. It is under clauses like this in most of Australia’s anti-discrimination legislation that organisations such as male-only clubs and women-only gyms are able to operate."

  • The difference between a racial slur and an acceptably shortened country name is a matter of history. "Aussie" should never be seen as a slur because it has never been a commonly used racial insult. Context is important.

  • [Starlink] was released in Australia in 2021 and offers unlimited data for $139 per month plus a hardware cost of roughly $599, with speeds comparable to the NBN’s 100-megabit plans.

Why the fuck would people be swapping to this when it is an extra $40-$50 a month for "comparable" speeds?! This article obviously has an agenda.

  • Literally just tell them what you said in this post.
