  • Yeah seems to be a linux problem as I've never had that on Windows.

  • Haven't seen this bug myself, so might be a Linux only issue.

  • I actually watched this video a few days ago and it's an amazing new look. Wish they would get hired by Value to design the whole system as it's impressive.

  • It doesn't look to bad, and knowing I don't currently have a Steam Deck I'd love to get one at some stage.

  • I find it annoying when it suggests me games that are already on my Wishlist.

  • Apple hasn't changed shit in years, the only latest thing they've done is added the USB C what they should have done years ago.

  • WTF is the image for this news? It doesn't even link to an article

  • From what I've seen of the Steam Deck there's not far that it can go to improve as of the moment but in the next 10 years there's going to be needing another one as newer games like GTA 6 and stuff come around and eventually be on PC the tech is going to really show it's age.

  • That's not good, especially as they wanted to join the Fediverse in the future.

  • No luck my end

  • It depends on the film, film (the tape) is expensive to be able to record on and some Directors prefer recording on it. But most smaller filmmakers go digital due to budget as well as the ability to edit it easier.

  • Even if it was like 16GB on a PC still not worth $1.6k

  • General week has been alright, news not so good between the UK government going after Trans people again as well as the Internet being a bad place to be publicly out I'd say that's the bad side of things.

  • I know it's more complex, just if you are trying to explain what the Fediverse is to someone who's older or someone who just thinks it's another social media instead of a whole new way of looking at the internet it's hard to explain to that person who isn't really looking actively for an 'alternative' for 'x' platform.

  • Mainly OnlyFans... A Fediverse store sounds kind of call though.

  • Especially when trying to explain that Mastodon and Lemmy can't talk together but you can still follow / subscribe to people

  • Yeah I thought about that method but it seems to just make it more complex

  • Lately I've only really seen RSS for PeerTube stuff or for Podcasts. I personally would most likely use them for Podcasts if I ever really wanted to listen to them but I don't really have a good RSS feed manager thing what ever you call them lol

  • My old laptop can only do basic browsing, not quite as bad as a chrome book but slowing over the past 2 year, my new one is a gaming one and will allow me to create video edits easily, also is loads better than my Desktop that I do most things on, including edits at the moment. (The new one has a 3050 in it)
