  • Yeah but rather it not become a breading ground for people like that with Elon's plans on adding dating into the mix.

  • I'm just glad we will be able to interact with those few people that won't use the rest of the Fediverse but stay on Threads.

  • The only benefit is that the Fediverse will have potentially more users as well as companies possibly following in METAs steps and integrating ActivityPub. This is a beneficial step for the internet but only time will tell how it actually plays out.

  • Yeah it's one of the many reasons I use Kbin / Mbin over Lemmy. Really hope features like that come to Lemmy in the future.

  • Just kill it please, People will be much better off on the Fediverse both mentally and to get away from bigots like Musk.

  • Yeah I find it sometimes helpful that multiple people can run communities in different instances but ATM it would be good if a few people created alternatives to set reddit like communities and we all go from there. Maybe it's a project someone could work on.

  • Kbin / Mbin actually fixed this by allowing if a Community isn't managed for 3 months by mods then it will be available for people to claim to admin. This allows people to keep the Community going and hopefully blow some life into it.

  • What are you printing to use it that long?

  • I'd get to sell my PlayStation & Xbox Inventories to purchase more games on Steam <3

  • Both look like amazing websites for people to use, thanks for sharing

  • I'm sure if Bluesky doesn't create something the Fediverse will have someone create a bridge protocol opensource to allow for easy integration into these systems.

  • What is really good for everyone already using the Fediverse as it doesn't mean as much work when it comes to bringing Threads & Mastodon compatibility. The multi-word tags are a cool feature but will have to looked at once Federated.

  • As they haven't said they aren't coming to the Fediverse and if anything say they are still looking to Federate it's still on-topic as of the moment but yes it feels like they are kicking the can down the road or have lost it completely and just don't want to tell anyone yet.

  • I've never really used Tumblr but it does sound like a cool fix, hope other Fediverse platform may consider it in the future.

  • Yeah I really do hope they focus on federate in the near future as well as it will allow a wider audience of people to join the Fediverse without having to explain it. Knowing they are still working on the platform is at least a slight positive to them wanting to make it a go to platform for people.

  • Probably the type of content, do you have a platform you prefer using as there are most likely Fediverse alternatives to them.

  • Yeah it does seem like big games are trying to turn into platforms, take Minecraft they are trying to make there own eco-system for game devs as well.

  • Sorry i'm bad at spelling

  • The Rock Band Clone you are talking about is actually made by the Rock Band Developers.

Love what Fortnite is doing with joining with all different sorts of games and making it work on Fortnite allowing you to have your Locker have all the items between games.

  • Hopefully something as good as E3 comes about in the future as it's sad to see the gaming community have one less thing to be exited for.
