I actually do already have this installed, but most of the time, it seems to not remove the tracking parameters. Maybe it can't tell due to some formats.
For example this link doesn't remove stuff after the ?: https://www.downpour.com/?vgo_ee=yVKPXuXTb3pOVC1%2BObLYIKCuW0CuYLqMqodDjvlwA9PZWjoKQA%3D%3D%3Ah1fuIWzG7PGjYqA%2FUh4bqIjx6MMD9PJM
Though sometimes you don't want it to auto remove stuff after the ? because you need that query to pull up stuff such as: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=query+string&t=h_&ia=web
You need the ?q=query+string&t=h_&ia=web for that search to work.
The thing with URLCheck is that you can choose which parameters to remove as well, which is really useful. Also it resolves redirects so that you know where the link will take you.
Using a metal mesh filter will make your coffee have more flavor but also more oily. I don't mind this because a lot of coffee I drink don't use paper filters.
Using a paper filter gives you a cleaner cup since the paper filter helps filter out the oils. It's nice when I'm making something like Japanese Iced Coffee in a V60
Idk about on Windows & macOS, but there are a lot of other options not based on Gecko (Firefox) or Blink (Chromium). Downside is that they don't have as many features or plugin support.
This scrapes the website, and is my preferred YouTube app. You cannot log into an account though, which isn't an issue for me. You can also import/export your subscriptions. They are still working on getting comment replies into the app though.
Some people like hosting some servers on their desktop as well, and doesn't want others on their local network to access them. With firewalls, you can allow specific IP address to reach those servers.
Guess it depends on the city and how much you value your time. I live in a big city of 700k-750k people.
For the fishmonger, it's a 10 min drive vs 1 hour bus ride.
The closest Asian grocery store is a 6 min drive or 50 min bus ride.
The bar that I go to is a 20 min drive or 1 hr 45 min bus ride.
One of my coworkers does not have a car, so instead of a 15 min drive, they commute 1 hr 35 mins each way to work. That's a lot of hours used up on your work day.
These are all one way within the same city, so it adds up when you calculate the return time as well. Unfortunately, a lot of US cities are driving centric. Jealous of places with great public transportation.
Even soy milk in the US isn't really just soy milk. There are so much stuff added to it. It's thick too.
I grew up drinking a lot of real soy milk which has a watery consistency that I can get at some Vietnamese / Chinese grocery stores or tofu shops. Flavor is quite different too.
Though I guess the US put thickeners and other stuff into theirs to help imitate milk
