  • The Senate map next year will be challenging. It'll be at least a little easier with it being a presidential year though. I hope people turn out.

  • Your right, from the article:

The hikes were tougher. As the lead guide for his series, Laprade led the formation alongside the lanky guide of his platoon, according to the release.

“Little legs with a little body weight, a lot of weight in the pack and a lot of miles in the hikes,” Laprade said. “That was the hardest part for me, the hikes.”

  • Do you think it will be a crowded field to challenge menendez?

  • I'm sorry to hear that. You definitely can't save if you can't eat. I hope your situation gets better soon.

  • the Constitution and decisions by the supreme Court determines what your legal rights are. Your opinions are your own and you can base them on whatever you want

  • This was my first time hearing of it too.

  • You're right. I have to admit African history is not my strong suit. I'm much more familiar with greco-Roman and American history than African. I think calling him a terrorist isn't accurate either though. My fundamental point is that the United States would be better off if more people voted and they voted in more elections. Do you think that's accurate or not?

  • I think if more people voted, more often, in high numbers then we would have better people elected to office. The higher percentage of voter participation goes I think the better the politician. I think a lot of people believe they don't have any real voice in politics but I'm convinced that isn't true.

  • My whole argument has been that more people should vote. That more people should engage politically. Meaning they educate themselves and they vote in every election they can. Do you sincerely think that if voter participation rose from 2022's 46% to 60 or 70% that we would have better politicians or worse politicians? I think we'd have better people running for office and being elected to office. That's the bottom line of my argument.

  • I think it was serious, just poorly planned. I think we're pretty much on the same page here though. I definitely think that there will be a next time.

  • I didn't know the two of you were friends. You keep odd company. In your opinion, how was Mandela a failure?

  • I was one of those who thought, "Hillary's going to walk away with this" I often think what the world would look like is she appointed 3 supreme Court justices. I bet that's a nice place

  • The stock market is one way the wealthy stay wealthy but that's different than a 401k, which is different than a Roth IRA.
