Justices: "Hey, do you want to become our marshals and uphold our laws?"

Rig them with remote controls, and then hold a competition. Each contest, different winning conditions and course are used. Month 1, modify the cars with weapons and duke it out. The next, a marathon where the car with the most distance is the victor, the third a destruction derby, and so forth.

It would be way more fun than a Mr. Beast show, I tell ya.

I am waiting for Arch SteamOS desktop to be released before trying Linux again. Hopefully sooner than later, since I want to cleanly migrate before DOGE starts to wander the halls of Microsoft.

Honestly, Denuvo makes me want to sail the high seas. When I browse Steam and see Denuvo, I mentally write off the game, saying "Might buy this in a couple of years if they fix this shit." If the company fails to do so, the game becomes valid to pirate, far as I am personally concerned.

I am not paying money to be rootkitted.

My takeaway: if they don't respond to evidence in good faith, you can simply consider them as enemies. From there, the only time to argue with them is when you want to convince other people in the room about your position. The court of public opinion is the key to obtaining a better society.

I think rejecting AI is a mistake. All that does is allow fascists to have mastery of the tools. Like money, guns, media, food, oil, or any number of other influential things, you don't want a select few people to have sole control over them.

Instead, we should adopt AI and make it work towards many good ends for the everyday person. For example, we can someday have AI that can be effective and cheap lawyers. This would allow small companies to oppose the likes of Disney in court, or for black dudes to successfully argue their innocence in court against cops.

AI, like any tool, reflects the intent of their user.

I am expecting them to end up as ICE technicals, used to hunt down dissidents like...checks notes...American citizens, children, and the elderly.

Trump is certainly trickling a golden shower upon humanity. The guy is an ass, and will tell us to thank him for the opportunity to eat the few rancid seeds found in his shit.

America and the UK, together they show the world what not to do. Conservatism and oligarchs are poisons that kill civilizations.

Programs like SNAP are up next. The time to eating the rich is nigh upon us.

I am kinda hoping that Grand Theft Aviation happens, with AOC and Bernie leading Free America from those two jets.

If America goes to war with Mexico, I think may very well have Cartel forces stalking Republicans in Texas. We live in a world of possibilities, ones that shouldn't have been plausible even a year ago.

I think the way to resolve this is a holiday window for voting. The workers schedule 4 days of the week for work, then the remaining 3 days are paid holidays. The worker selects which days of that holiday week are best for them. If they don't vote, their company is fined an amount double to the worker's weekly pay.

Yup. Apparently the same gold bar from Costco was about $2k a year ago. I have been doomspending as of late, stocking on stuff and renovating, since I don't believe in the American Dollar anymore. Up to a year ago, I was seriously trying to develop my wealth, slowly but steadily, expecting to cash out in a couple decades.

Now...well, what is the point? The death rattle of our institutions makes it clear that there is no good future to rely upon.
