  • I sometimes get IT support calls where people will just saying something is asking for a password or giving them a notification. I usually just tell them to login and everything is ok, or just to read it back to me. Its never anything unusual that would throw up red flags security wise that I would think would sketch out a user. Its like there just surprised by the popup. More often than not, they didn't need any help. I still can't figure this one out, but I still "fix" it I guess.

  • I spent 5 minutes coming up with a xbox360 username as a kid based off games I recently payed. Good enough to last me my entire life.

  • My cable management is bad enough to legally require censorship bars...

  • Its the same feel of reddit 5-10 years ago. Actually remembering local random users without them being news worthy is wild.

  • Make sure you got Counterstrike Source and any other Source games installed. It pulls extra assets from them too and most mods use them.

  • I was perfectly happy spending 5-10 minutes looking around without an account if I wondered my way there. Now twitter exist to me as screenshots at other locations.

  • I think reddit gives new accounts a default username with that format.
