The problem with that is we need funding in order to attract quality content creators. and at the moment YT has control over that market

So I definitely have some privilege here in the form of not paying rent. But I'm able to live off my savings and being as frugal as possible while letting my investment account slowly grow and mostly come out net zero for the last 6 months. Pretty nice not having to work and just living as low-impact and low-cost as possible. Of course this isn't possible for people who have unavoidable bills and payments but I still absolutely agree that many people could do better with saving and budgeting.

My guy they're not a bootlicker you're just completely missing their point. They aren't defending corporations. Just pointing out one way in which the tradition of tip workers not reporting fully is actually beneficial for corporations.

But it's true that point isn't really relevant in the larger picture.

Solo travel can really teach you a lot about yourself. I had a great time living in my car for 3 weeks but I learned that I got lonely as hell. Until I met a couple friends in Nevada to help put things in perspective.
