  • Colloquially, internationally, when people say America, I don't think of them referring to anywhere but the US. I'm not about making things US centric either, just saying.

  • To "halve" something is a real thing. But I think the word wasn't used exactly right here..

  • There are definitely companies that use non plastic bags. Usually even compostable. Teapigs, Traditional Medicinal, Buddha Teas, etc.

  • I'm not speaking for myself. I live a life that does not depend on Amazon at all. I'm just saying for those that have a hard time with letting go of habits that currently use Amazon, taking small steps gives chance for bigger steps that make a difference over time.

    I can't say I'm surprised at that trait from those that hold these politics in the first place.
