I distinctly remember a few Russian commanding officers this past year and a half that tried to push a group of armed men into doing something they didn't want.

it did not go well for them.

I remember every year, there was a farm close to where I lived that would grow cover crops for winter, and by spring they would be dried and dead, and for the better part of the week they went field by field with the fire department and about 40 people, and burned all the dead cover crops off.

I'd love it if we could do a controlled burn of the copse of trees behind my house, the underbrush is thick enough I haven't seen a deer come or go in years, and the creeping vines are choking many of the trees out. A few are clearly dead, more are dying, and I'm pretty sure a burn that killed the brush and vines would help the trees a lot, but I'm not a controlledburnologist.

This is literally the first I've heard of a new vaccine recommendation. And I had a Dr appointment less than a month ago.

Now I want Magneto and Count Dooku to team up in middle earth. That would be an interesting mini-series.

After reading the other comments, I've decided I want another show that will be more of a comedy, and it's got magneto, count Dooku, a grunt who just popped in from Somalia after falling from a helicopter (black hawk down), some guy saying his name is "six-echo" (The Island), some kid from Hawaii going on about a dolphin he calls (Flipper), a college professor concerned about slides and saying he needs to find a portal (Sliders), a drug addict who "survived?" a plane crash (Lost), and there must be some kind of mix up because there's just a horse standing around a bunch of dead guys who all look the same. (hidalgo and every Sean bean movie)

Well, since nobody is hiding in bunkers waiting for the fallout to dissipate and radiation levels to drop far enough that quick surface travel is survivable, I'm gonna call bullshit.

They may have done a thought exercise like how sometimes you might get super bored and go "what if that old man goes crazy and pulls out a sword" and plan out a fight scene.

There is no "we did a test of our nuclear strike response" because no matter what that plan is, it will not work. No battle plan survives contact with the enemy, everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. Your nuclear response plans mean fuckall when 80% of the people involved in your test will be dead in under 30 minutes. What is the estimate now? Like 12-20 minutes of warning?

I've always been a fan of "Make it Go"

But I think I'd prefer what someone else here said "don't wait for my order, just move when we're ready."
