  • Do you really? Because I hear from Europeans they hate you.

I joke because personally I love the Dutch, but not necessarily Amsterdam. Such a great country.

The Danes have you beat in friendliness though I think.... They're so damn happy I can't understand it.

  • Also many of the people complaining that their posts are being filtered are mods of communities larger than 50 users, one person pointed out that they mod two subs of more than 500,000 people.

So they lied while acting pretentious, again. To the surprise of no one.

  • I noticed that if you go down in "hot" more than the equivalent of a few "pages" in jerboa (let's say you just keep scrolling through posts until you hit like #150 or so down) or starts to give you really old posts.

Not sure if it's how the hot algorithm is supposed to work but there's also not a lot of content that's from pre-reddit-implosion (~June 1 for people to really start moving over) so it could just be the amount of people significantly overtaking the amount of content.

  • I mean the creator of the movement back on reddit was literally anti-work. They went on to get interviewed on the news and made a complete fool of themselves and the people who had a much more well reasoned approach, causing a split into "work reform"/worker empowerment communities, which this one is more along the lines of.

  • They explicitly state these are not classified communications.

These are sensitive unclassified. Things like PII/P&P, CUI, are able to be sent via unclassified channels.

Not sure about DoD specifically right now, but I also know that DoE and DoD contractors do encrypt their emails and have checks in place whenever something gets sent to an outside org. Not sure why that's not the case with these emails.

  • You didn't even read their metrics did you? It's based on crime rates, healthcare, quality of health, etc. Those are pretty objective measures, and ones that republican-controlled states often fight against (see: reluctance to expand medicaid).
