  • Rule one : agree with our propaganda, mod abuse and blatant favoritism or else.

  • KDE Plasma is the only desktop with a functional screen reader on Wayland and even then its limited. Other than that, KDE has a magnifying glass setting bound to Super + +/-/0 you can enable.

  • It's just that they seem to treat pre-release like they're stable while never actually having a stable release. It's not really an issue persay, it's just kinda annoying how they handle release cycles. Pre-releases are supposed to be for experimentation and for finding bugs, not to sit on for months upon years.

  • I've been using lawnchair for such a long time, but one gripe I have is that it seems to be in a perpetual state of "Pre-release" with large gaps between releases.

  • Yes. But not the majority and going to a dedicated community on Reddit is just asking for it. You'll never have an atheist in the wild start blabbering on about how they don't believe in God without engaging them first. Unlike mormons, vegans, etc. That's my point.

  • And the crown of being a condescending prick goes to... πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯ YOU πŸ₯³

    I am a fucking atheist.

You certainly don't act like one, you act more like an asshole. πŸ’©

I know exactly what you're trying to say and I'm hard disagreeing. Ironically, in all your efforts of you saying I'm missing the point, you've completely missed mine.

  • Whatever you say dude.
\ Let's just ignore the fact "holier than thou" is literally a phrase because of the stereotype of how religious people act and the condescending tone they use when you won't fall in line and believe in whatever God they do. Most atheists couldn't give any less of shit about what you personally believe in. We're not the ones going around trying to save the souls of people who didn't ask.
\ Let's ignore the fact that literally wars have been fought over religions elitism.
\ Let's also ignore the fact that you've repeatedly been condescending in this very thread.

  • Dude that's like me walking into a fucking Christian church and complaining that the bread isn't actually Jesus's flesh.

  • It's the direct mod abuse & blatant favoritism that's the worst.

  • Too bad it's on .ml, the mods often can't be trusted.

  • What happens November 2025?

    Window's 10 EOL.

  • Atheist? Um no, I think you mean Mormons.
\ Atheist rarely ever talk about atheism unless a religions mf is already trying to shove their shit down your throat.
\ Atheist don't go knocking on your fucking door trying to spread the word of the not God.

  • Meanwhile in the US, you couldn't pay them to return your shit.

  • There's an ffmpeg command to do it.

  • Damn. I wanted to make the warewolf dunk a basketball.

  • Can you share a text-less version?
    \ I got an idea.

  • Waking up? I'm pretty sure we've been well aware sense the civil war. Most of us are just Squidward.

  • Ofc they can, that's why you can't just spam it and expect it to change much, other than you potentially getting smacked for spamming the api.
\ It doesn't hurt to force it if it's just never triggered before though, the survey trigger can be problematic on Linux.
\ Besides, there's plenty of Windows users who do the exact same thing.

All this would do is maybe weight some of the answers on which flavour of Linux and which hardware is being used in the favour of proactive users.

No, that's not how the survey works, it's opt-in. Sure privately they can see your system properties from the steam client, but they can't publish it unless you explicitly opt-into the survey. Survey fail to trigger = never opt-in = you're completely excluded. Forcing the trigger at the appropriate time when it's never triggered even after years is perfectly fine. Plus it forces the trigger to reset properly for next time. Like I said, you can only upload once; after that just wait patiently for it to trigger on its own as it should be functioning as intended from then on.
