  • My coworkers are doing a doordash lunch once a week and I was ok-ish with until my fav sandwich cost me twice as much as the restaurant price. Later that week I got an email from said coworkers informing us that we were having DISCOUNTED food because they bought a doordash pass which has since expired and we need a new one to keep the prices low. This was the end of it for me.

  • Lotion is the only thing that helps, especially in winter. If my skin is too dry no amount of scratching will save me, it will only get worse. OP, you may want to try it before going to bed.

  • I'm off work this week and it's so nice. We took a short trip to see giant sequoias at Sequoia and Kings Canyon National park, (a little bit of) Yosemite and Mono lake and we're going to Cirque du Soleil tomorrow.

  • Sir that's a blep. Mlem curls upwards.

  • It's kind of wonky. You'll need to click the green Back this project button first and then click on a picture of whatever you want to get (ebook, hardcover etc) and then another green Pledge button will appear.

  • Is the opening at the top wide enough for a thin grabby tool aka claw picker?

  • Well, we need to know about the avocado incident. You can't leave us all hanging like that.

  • The owners of the mall forced immigrant workers to mop up the mess ankle deep in boiling water. Horrendous death.

  • When I had my first job as a receptionist, our fax still printed on thermal paper rolls and we had a particularly bright customer fax us a 50 page contract. I was almost in tears as I watched a newly replaced very expensive roll getting wasted in minutes. I called my supervisor to vent and he walked to my desk with a sharpie, wrote IMCOMPLETE across the roll and said "fax it back to them". They were calling us back in less than a minute screeching on the phone to stop transmission.

  • I'd read the shit out of it.

  • Instagram iirc has about 1.6 billion users. They already have the user base, they just need to find a way to persuade everyone to try it.

The quality of the content is a different matter but I don't think that's the end goal.

  • Put some layers on! Jk I know winter stuff may not be as exciting but here's hope that spring is just around the corner.

  • Absolutely do it. I am yet to regret any trip to a state or national park. Based on their size and proximity you can plan your yearly visits around long weekends or just take a couple of days off work and go.

  • Hiking. Now is the perfect season for it. If you partner has time off work, take a 1-2-3-4 days trip to any national park nearby and enjoy the nature. Or just venture out somewhere close for a couple hours walk.
