  • Okay, Lemmy, which one of you was it?

  • Teacher: "And so, the United States dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, wiping the cities off the map, and causing untold amounts of death and suffering to those who were caught in their wake."

    OP: "Hhhphffff!!!"

  • At some point you have to wonder how does this benefit conservatives at all? On the contrary, forgiving student debt would free up the income of several people in their districts to spend money and stimulate the economy. From a church's perspective, any money that isn't being spent on repayment is potentially money being dumped into their collection plates. And for all those conservative people who want liberals/queer people/racial minorities to move away from them, they would certainly have more money to do so. Even to the most die hard conservative, I don't see how this isn't an absolute win?

  • Thanks a lot for posting the study.

  • retarded moderators

Yeah let's not pretend it's just the mods.

  • I guess we really are trying to recreate everything about reddit here.

  • Black king enlist the help of an Ai to replace pawns

Ai is too powerful to control

Ai takes this as a sign of weakness in humanity

Ai, instead of enslaving humanity, starts shuffling around art it took from the internet. Leaches off of pawns' income.

Pawns returns to work to make up for lost income.

  • Okay, you got us. We were the bronies all along!

  • I sea what u did their! and eye do knot admit de feet!

  • I eat arguments like your FOR BREAKFAST!

  • I was a big weeb, and my original name was Nekomaru. As I "grew out" of it, I translated the name back into English, and realized I actually liked it better.

  • Yeah, and don't get me wrong, the majority of users I have engaged with here have been lovely. But occasionally you'll get the post with hundreds of upvotes, with maybe one downvote, but the comment section makes it feel like they're trying to set the place on fire.

It probably has more to do with the fact that there are far less of us than redditors, and comments are weighted differently from reddit.

  • Oh yeah, the MLP community has always been hella talented.

  • I see Lemmy likes to pony like its 2013.

  • You lift me up! So I'm may punch through drywall!!!

  • The whole article is a bit clunky to read.

"The word 'unprecedented' gets thrown around a lot..." Are you trying to reach a minimum word count?

  • Who cares about reddit or the people still on there? Afaic, everyone cool has already moved here, and ya'll have already built a beautiful community. Sometimes its not about destroying a corporate website, but the friends we make along the way.
