Same thought here, why uploading it to proton drive? github isnt evil that they trying to snatch that code or whatever. If you are so cautious then ramp up a gitea or gitlab self hosted instance up.
I like how they do the reverse psychology, at least for me. I have still the urge to press the non highlighted button, because in my time the "Buy"/"Go to play store" button was highlighted and this is just reversing this.
until further notice we removed and banned the user that created those communities. If he really wants to open a full porno community he should go to a dedicated instance.
Thanks for your interest in moderation. If you want you can always ask either a popular community if you can help out or request a unmoderated community takeover and if anything isnt working for you, you can always create a new community!
