No, as we humans are omnivores. We can digest non animal fats and dont need directly a heck load of chemicals injected into a block of soy beans paste.
Additionally WE can make that choice but cats that are obligatory carnivore would never choose vegan as they are obligated to do so.
Sorry my bad, yeah it is the lemmy.ml instance, on there the creators are. We are federated with them so you can interact with the users and communities.
Just scroll to fast and then you get rate limited. Infinity scroll is the enemy of every infra admin.
We can not disallow that usage, so that is out of reach for us. But that is "ok" if its still in the given rate limit that every instance is defined for themselves.
You could learn Rust or Typescript ( React ). And then you can contribute to the respective github repositories like the API ( https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy ) and contribute there.
It will take some months to learn correctly and then the Lemmy devs need to approve your changed code.
We are hosting Lemmy on our own servers, it costs us ( including all other services like mastodon.world etc.... ) 1.5k€ ( it is outdated but it should be in that range, ca. Dec. 2023 ) https://blog.mastodon.world/
It is not feasable to increase it higher, because it never seen to be needed or wanted ( from the instance admins ) as more posts to load => more infrastructure costs.
Yeah probably, i could think it could become a fire hazard real quick if all of them are used simultaneous, especially if it comes from amazon. Louis Rossman has some good videos about dangers of amazon products ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y83BS_mK9GE )
I would think only the power connection ports are connected ( sort of a "dumb" cable )
Only way i can imagine is either its in their specs or cut one of them open to see what is connected ( dont connect anything after cutting it open )
Rule 3 applies here, expect here no professionals.
Like said before the bot is not a bringer of truth or "god", its just an optional third view on the news pages bias, it CANT be 100% truthfully or unbiased itself.
We are discussing already other options / additions to the bot.

If a vegan diet is ethical for a cat is unknown.
