  • The magic of the modern day means you can type "define" or "pronounce" then any word into Google and it'll tell you how to say it. There's also an absurd amount of YouTube pronunciation videos for basically every word that exists.

Not that there's a problem asking, this is more advice for future words your friend doesn't know. So you can help them. The dummy.

  • In fairness he says 90 minutes after waking, not 90 minutes after the walk. If you get home from the walk by 6:30 that's 30 minutes to make it, or potentially buy it if you have one nearby to get on the way home/quickly drive to.

Now yes that's already 10am, but considering he mentions 2pm in the right column, you could make the argument the left column is the "until 10am" part, and the right is "after 10am" part, though I am giving large amounts of benefit of the doubt at this point.

  • Simple question: Who do you think would be better for the country as president? Neither isn't an option, because one is happening, no matter what. Equally bad isn't an option either, as no 2 people are completely identical. It doesn't matter is objectively false, as they will do things differently, and those differences are not equivalent.

The fact is actively telling Kamala supporters not to vote is indirectly voting for Trump, and vice versa, whether you yourself turn up or not.

If you truly believe it doesn't matter, there's no reason to tell anyone to not vote, as voting and doing the other actions you recommend are not mutually exclusive.

  • You also won't be authorised to play them if your account is banned for any or no reason, or if steam somehow shut down (at least for any you havn't already downloaded or if you ever uninstall them).

That doesn't sound much like owning to me. Could you imagine if gamestop banned you from their store and suddenly you couldn't play any game you bought there? Would any logical person consider that ownership?

  • What matters is I can put that exe on a harddrive/usb stick, plug it into any PC, and play it. Does that work with epic and steam? If I copy the game folder onto a usb stick and buy a new pc, can I plug it in and play it without ever installing the launchers? Or having to do some other workaround like download software I don't know if I can trust that I wouldn't have to do with GOG?

I don't care about whether it's technically illegal or not, I only care about how easily I can play the game using nothing but the game, exactly like a cartridge.

  • First, I do get a different brand, that's my point. Second, now you're telling me to buy it in bulk to always have around? I don't want to spend that much on an already expensive chocolate and it'll probably just go fast from my kids anyway. Plus in summer it'll either melt from the heat or be rock hard from being in the fridge, neither is ideal.

Also, usually I'll just buy it as a treat when we're already out. If I'm trying to split a chocolate between 4 people at a shopping centre, I'm not going to be carrying around a knife, I want to be able to just easily break it into 4 sections. Nor am I going to think before we leave "I should grab 4 of those chocolates I bought online in my pocket in case we want some".

I have no problem just getting a different brand to avoid the hassle, all I'm saying is maybe I'd get theirs if it wasn't designed so stupidly. But I'm sure they don't care enough about getting business from 1 random guy to change it, so I'm fine getting others.

  • So now you're telling me to order a small bar of chocolate online to come God knows when, and pay postage for an already expensive chocolate... If I want a single serve of chocolate I don't want to wait for it to come by delivery days later, these aren't reasonable solutions.

  • Tony's only comes in 180g bars where I live, there is no smaller size. If you're going to say I should buy a different one then, well I thought I made clear I already do because of their stupid design, but if I wanted to support them because of other good reasons, they only have the one stupid option either way.

  • If I have to get a knife out to eat my chocolate bar it's already become more hassle than it's worth.

They could have rectangles and squares of uneven sizes that still have normal break lines, they choose not to. Heck they could even have triangles that break neatly if they really wanted to by putting a diagonal line down some squares or rectangles.

  • I admire the commitment but if all you care about is routine and you can manage to be offset for some amount of time, just spend a week changing it 10 minutes each day. 10 minutes won't mess with your body and you'll be synced with everyone else in under a week.

  • I dunno... I don't know how much help they needed from the ground to pilot (I know they needed a lot, but I mean in the case there isn't any, could they pilot at all?), but if they could manage to get picked up by the guy orbiting it might be interesting to just fly through space for a bit, or even do something super crazy like try to land back on a peice of the earth. Worst case scenario you die crashing into the centre of the earth or something.
