I find that to be a good thing. The less centralized institutions that can control what we do the better. I say that while social media is the biggest it's ever been.
Yea cause the guvment is more likely to trust locals. That said, I spent a couple weeks there last year and it was great. I'm definitely going back in the near future.
They're making the same argument people make about music. There's plenty of good music out there of all genres. Radio just doesn't play it and you have to go out of your way to find what you like.
I'm gonna start with a baby step. I want to set up a mini pc for my living room streaming. I'm thinking I'll do Linux on it and dip my toe in the water that way, eventually I'll transition to Linux on my main pc too once I get the hang of it. Most of what I do is online or open source so Im not locked to programs. It's mostly games atm, a couple of which won't run on Linux, league of legends is one if they go ahead with vanguard. I'll either set up a completely separate mini pc to only play league or quit.
Look at what's going non there right now. It ain't working for them, and they've been trying for decades. Recently the yen hit records low. Great for me to vacation there but not for them.
He's definitely not. They're something like 97 percent plus "pure" there. Also discriminating against foreigners is perfectly legal and common anywhere not in a tourist area.
Agreed, I haven't driven an 18 wheeler but I've driven the big fedex box trucks for a living and even those are harder to maneuver than a regular sedan. The hardest part is dealing with people who think you leaving all that extra space in front of you is just so anyone can slip in and drive there.
Yea I attribute it to the audience. Manga evolved as a mature and mainstream medium that wasn't just for kids. Comics, at least back then didn't evolve as much and as quickly. Video games as well until the last handful of years.
Ah fair enough. Yes that's crazy, I heard of a dude who would take 20 minute naps on his commute home he didn't even have 'autopilot' it was just fucking lane assist and adaptive cruise control. That's a death waiting to happen.
