  • I agree with all of the things you said. However, Henry Kissinger was essentially the father of modern neo-conservative foreign policy, and those policies are largely what led to the manipulation of the United States government by AIPAC and the Israeli government. There are a multitude of other factors as you suggest, but don't act for one second like Henry Kissinger wasn't Jewish first and American second.

  • Kissinger wasn't a traitor for foreign pay against his adopted homeland.

We're going to have to agree to disagree on that one. Henry Kissinger is uniquely responsible for the modern quagmire of a relationship that exists between the United States and Israel.

  • I'd like him to also resign from being alive. Unfortunately, the damage is already done, so him dying really has a negligible effect other than not having to hear from him anymore, which is a grace I think this planet has earned.

  • "Action over anxiety."

My mom has told me this since I was a kid, and it is still something I am trying to put into practice effectively when met with challenging situations. It is the most forgiving way I can think of to get yourself in the mental headspace you are talking about without the "time to nut up" connotation.

  • No, this is about making sure he does what is best for the white slavers. The amount of shame and personal repression he feels being born as a black man in America can only be overcome if he is able to prove to himself that he was born with the wrong color skin, and he is just as willing to enforce fascism as any goosestepping, jackboot, white-supremacist. The difference is that he actually has the power to do it, and when all is said and done he will have successfully helped install the two worst presidents in American history.

  • The case won’t be resolved until Trump is your president Dictator in Chief next year.

Other than that I agree. People are going to downvote you out of fear, but that is precisely where we are headed. Even if he loses there will be a violent coup and a legislative coup to attempt to insert him anyway. If you don't think that is the plan then you are lying to yourself.

  • Worrying is pointless. Based on their decision to hear this case it is a 100% guarantee they have the votes to grant him immunity, and they know it. How they are stupid enough to believe that he won't immediately usurp their own power the second he gets back into the White House I will never know, but I am positive that is where we are headed. Every single piece of available evidence suggests we are in for a Trump dictatorship. Anyone who believes otherwise is a fool.

  • You don't have nuanced viewpoints. Based on your comment history you are just an edgelord who gets off over being downvoted into oblivion because it makes you feel intellectually superior when people you don't identify with heavily criticize you.

I feel like you ended up here because you were most likely banned from Reddit, and are looking for a new dopamine fix. Whatever the reason happens to be, you're still pathetically simple minded, and a great example of a useful political idiot.

  • I see your point, but the sentiment is still strong that America should be involved as a global leader, even in the data you provided. While that number has gone down, it still shows that roughly two thirds of the electorate do not want to embrace isolationism. However, I do think it matters what that participation in the world looks like, and like anything else there is a lot of nuance to that.

  • Says who? What "general population"? If you're referring to the roughly 1/3 of this country that are either openly fascist, or fascist adjacent then it is on the rest of us to deliver crushing blows to their ideology. Nobody is coming to save us, and we must be willing to muster the courage of our convictions to defeat them. I don't think they represent anything approaching a majority, but they are still incredibly dangerous.

  • No, I don't. Anybody who already supports Trump will just see him as even more of a martyr or defender of their cultish honor. Everybody else already knows he's a fuck up and a confidence man, so this is totally on brand for him.

I'm also not convinced it will materially impact his election chances since that money is coming from PACs that are separate from his personal wealth. There is very little these civil cases are going to do to impact anything at the moment beyond putting additional pressure on him. It has always been the criminal cases that were the real concern, and his primary focus.

As I said, if he can avoid becoming a felon and win the election he will make these civil judgements disappear one way or another, and violently if necessary.

  • I never honestly expected him to appeal. It was all blustering and threats in an attempt to bully the courts into giving him more leeway, and to secure more donations from his rube supporters.

Donald Trump knows full well that these civil judgements don't matter at all. Unless he is able to win this election, he is going to spend the rest of his life in prison. Once this country learns what he was really doing with those classified materials, and how much of a traitor he really is then he will be well and truly fucked.

None of this money matters at all right now. If he gets back in the oval office he will manipulate the courts in a way that will guarantee he never pays, and if he doesn't he is going to flee the country or tear it apart.

  • We have very different definitions of the word "funny".

  • It was a masterbation joke. I was trying to make light of the situation based on OP's initial comment.
