Doing the opposite of sharing the load over a larger capacity is always a bad idea. "But socialism" is the rally cry of idiots. The biggest things can only be done together as a nation.
"The short answer is that this executive order, like all too many that we’ve seen before, is lawless and asserts all sorts of executive authority that he most assuredly does not have."
Yes. Agreed. How's the whole shouting, "hey, this isn't legal" working out so far? The key to having laws is also enforcing said laws. Not doing great on that part so far.
Spider-Man has always been a popular character. I grew up first knowing about him not even from comics, but from him on Electric Company (PBS show usually after Sesame Street for a bit older kids).
I guess it's true that people generally grow conservative as they get older, but come on guys, we were better than this. Plus both Gen-X and Boomers knew about Trump and his shit long before he became political. Did all the ones voting for him as some better choice get dementia or something? I never forgot how the first times he tries running for office even as a Democrat it was more of a joke than anything else. Still is, but Jesus, people bought it hook, line, sinker, pole, boat...
It does seem ludicrous, but would Biden doing things illegally be better? Everything Trump has done goes against the very principle of the country, so he's not the benchmark we need, even though he's "accomplishing" so much more by doing it wrongly.
Biden did appoint a number of them, but there can't be more than five of a party affiliation, and removal of the PMG requires an absolute majority of those board members. The question needs to be why none or not enough of them feel he's a problem.
"All right, I've been thinking, when life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager!"
And I that doesn't work I'll just storm off and leave the debate.
