What's the worst invention of the 21st century?

  • I'm actually glad I'm not that active on the platform (or any platform for that matter, federated or not), so I can give myself time to breathe in outside air and touch some grass.

    And once I am active, it's usually for a couple hours at most, then it's back to being in my coma for a few days.

  • I wanna move to Belgium. Not once have I considered Brussels as my new demeure. It's got some cool stuff, but it has little to no revisit value.

    Quite a lot of the cities in the Flemish region look absolutely beautiful (Bruges especially), yet everyone I know of just sees Brussels and thinks of it as all of Belgium, then comes to the conclusion that the entire country is basically rubbish.

    But I personally think that Charleroi is way worse.

  • The fediverse. I can't believe nobody mentioned that yet.

    After all, this entire website wouldn't exist without it, and we'd be all stuck on terrible, terrible Reddit (and Twitter, and... pretty much any centralized social media platform that are so well known).

  • I like the name PopOS more.

    Also, Ubuntu is well known to use the Snap app packages, which is something that everyone in Lemmy absolutely despises. PopOS doesn't have that.

  • Google Translate didn't help in telling me what language that is. It told me it was Polish, and the "translation" to English is completely unchanged.

  • I'm not that guy. My grades were mostly 14 to 16/20s (which is probably B or C, idk your grading system, sorry).

    Hell, I couldn't care less about school, I just wanted friends, even if it was a hot girl, but on the condition that we don't date. Can you tell I'm asexual?
