Canada can do whatever it wants with it's citizens, just like the US can deport their own citizens to Guantanamo or Salvador so they can not be protected by their constitutional rights.

This but economy 101. Why waste military hardware when the most precious thing the US has economically is their high tech sector. Let's tank it for the Lulz.

It's the US that are surrendering, not Ukraine nor Europe. This is a defeat for the US, I don't see other countries that could be qualified as being defeated. Russia not yet but we're getting there. With or without the US.

Production isn't were it's supposed to be because there hasn't yet been enough time to build more production capacity hardware (factories, specialist workers, logistical systems etc...). It's unfortunate right now, the US has already all that. But it's the big push before the end of the line for any US made weapon systems in the EU. Too dangerous to have an Ally of Russia as a supplier who can cut you out of the usage of what he sold you at the most critical time.

Pretty sure US weapons sales in EU countriea are coming to a predictable end...

If the war stops today without returning a massive chunk of territories, the underground Ukrainian resistance will go on. There will be no war, but expect shootings, bomb on planes carrying russian officials, hostage takings... And probably not only in Russia or Ukraine.

Plus the added risk of US troops entering a war because it would just have signaled to Putin that with sacrificing under 1% of his population (800 000/ 130 million) is getting yourself territory like Poland or the Baltic's because the USA will always end up folding in front of their adversaries.

If they take out Ukraine and only talk between Trump and Putin, then the war continues, the US just won't be their shop... Plenty of countries need to update their weapons on Ukrainian money.

Why Biden? He's not in this war except as a multi service shop. It would have been Zelinsky/Putin.

Except he can't rule over all of Europe...
