Wat maakt het performatieve onzin? Minder Amerikaanse producten gebruiken heeft toch wel degelijk effect (mits genoeg mensen het doen). Niet dat Trump dan ineens weg is ofzo, maar het versterkt onze eigen markten wel.

Ik gebruikte al niks van Twitter en FB, behalve WhatsApp, waar ik helaas gewoon niet af kom... Vervanger zou dan wel Signal zijn.
Qua mail en cloud storage was ik al over naar Proton.
Navigatie ben ik HERE aan t uitproberen met redelijk succes. Als iemand een goeie Nederlands TTS service kent, laat het met weten. Hier ben ik nog van Google's TTS afhankelijk. Ik gebruik Organic Maps als ik niet hoef te rijden.
Google kom ik helaas niet helemaal vanaf. De telefoons die ik graag wil (met headphone jack), zijn vaak slecht ondersteund in de custom ROM markt, hoewel ik recent wel Jolla aan t overwegen ben (maar het voelt ook weer zonde om nieuw spul te kopen puur daarom).
Ik gebruik ook steeds minder Windows en meer Linux (Mint), maar vanwege muziek kan ik er nog niet helemaal van af. Ook voor werk zit ik er aan vast.
Qua Office vervanger ben ik OnlyOffice aan het uitproberen.
Zoek machine was al lang geen Google meer, maar een combi van Startpage en DDG (die beide wel resultaten van Google en Bing halen...). Ben nu Qwant aan het proberen (Bing resultaten).
I dislike Reddit too, but why would you want to ruin a subreddit just because you want to stop? What's the problem with finding new mods? This logic seems similar to Reddit's by thinking it's your property, when it should be the community's

Door hoe Lemmy in elkaar steekt kan het ook zo zijn dat dat zo lijkt. Het kan heel goed zijn dat ze er wel zijn, maar dat de instance waar het op zit of de community zelf simpelweg nog niet gefedereerd is met de feddit.nl instance. Het eerste resulteert in het helemaal niet kunnen vinden. Het tweede resulteert in het wel kunnen vinden, maar dat het leeg lijkt. Dan moet je abonneren en dan zouden de posts een poosje later zichtbaar moeten zijn.
Other than Wotakoi, the only ones I can think of, and are worthwhile imo, are 'Science Fell In Love, So I Tried To Prove It', 'Astro Note' and 'Recovery Of An MMO Junkie' though the latter 2 aren't really full on romances.

Attack On Titan doesn't drag in my opinion and I totally recommend it.
The 1st season is the "worst" of the bunch, but still a decent action anime, after that it becomes really solid with good suspense, mystery and political games (a lot of action too of course, but it takes a backseat).
I think I'd pick Sweat & Soap. It's a really good romance manga with great characters. I think it's the quintessential romance manga with adults (Wotakoi being a close 2nd and actually my preference, but wouldn't consider it as quintessential).
It doesn't fall into a lot of the traps like many other romance manga tend to and particularly the journey of the female lead is really good.
The initial premise seems like it's pretty fetishized, but it's not at all.
This is way more than just competing against MS because Kadokawa is way more than a game publisher.
Reuters framing it from a FromSoftware perspective makes the issue seem way smaller.
