  • I don't think it counts as locking them away without food or water if they don't become thirsty or hungry while grounded. Grounding my son for an hour, technically he has no water or food, but if he asked for it I'd give it to him.

  • This is unintentionally how we do it. We split up the socks after cleaning them but like a day later mom is wearing the oldest ones socks and the oldest one is wearing dads socks, and the little one has one sock from the older brother and another he found under the couch buried in dog hair.

    Same same.

  • You are assuming the internal voice is more of a presence. Its more the background exhaust of thinking. I don't have to listen to my inner voice say it, as I read silently they just fall out the back of my head as I go.

  • Thats why this perspective is a problem. You won't know you are at risk of addiction until you are already addicted. Apparently its very easy to kick addictions though so I guess no worries. Theres definitely some logic to the idea things aren't a an addiction until they negatively affect your life, but I think there needs to be more nuance there for it to be practically useful advice.

  • The US was just the latest to take advantage of a disaster. Not too long before the Nazis tried to kill all the Jews were americans trying to kill all the native americans, as well. I'm not sure america has done any good as a country in a long while.

  • If someone's part of the "public" then its provided to them for 0$, thats the deal. If they are an adult in that area they might pay for it in taxes, but most places won't limit access to local taxpayers. There is nothing underhanded happening there. Its provided for a group of people and those people use it within the guidelines setup for them.

Im sure you will have as little to say in your next reply but do try to actually make a point.

  • Its not a privilege, its a protection for artists. There is nothing that says they have any responsibilities to their work after the copyright expires. I'm not sure where you got this privilege thing from.

It will be available in the public domain once the copyright expires, in the case of the crew.

Feel free to make another racing MMO and call it whatever you'd like though.

  • You are implying its about server costs then? Activision sunset the crew because they had been developing the crew 2 for a long time. It had to come out eventually. Allowing third party hosting of the crew would have cost them a lot of money. Why should they take a loss in that situation?
