  • Well you aren't going to be able to pick out a trend with only testing two games. Its enough of a problem that I would double check where the save is before starting a game on gamepass.

The last game I tried to move and failed was snowrunner I believe.

  • Why wouldn't high income areas be more expensive to serve?

Don't they have to have local servers all around the world to even allow this instant-like transfer of videos for anyone to watch at anytime?

I actually don't know the back end stuff so you might be able to explain this part.

  • They were being cheeky, cause the author is well into a decade+ writing the 2nd to last novel in the series.

I think most people have accepted at least the final book will never happen, that dudes not living the healthiest life right now anyways.

  • The poster isnt able to explain themselves but Microsoft encrypts most of the game files for their gamepass games which prevents copy pasting the files elsewhere.

You can move the files but they are useless for any other version, and I believe you can't even copy and paste from gamepass to gamepass either, but I can't say for sure on that.

  • They absolutely are not and you are lucky you were able to get your save game out. The majority of games have their config and save files encrypted and are completely unusable as far as any other platform goes.

There are some exceptions, mainly games that have official mod support tend to have areas you can access but the majority of others won't.

  • I think the problem here is that your point isnt nearly as profound as you think.

You just generally "feel" that some terms are too negative after watching a moving "documentary"?

    Cool.

I really appreciate what the other poster had to say though, gave me a lot to look into.

  • They replied elsewhere, that victim is a personifying trait and that applying it to inanimate objects makes no sense.

While corporations can be the victim of an attack in the technical sense, we wouldnt feel bad for the corporation because a corporation has no feelings that could be hurt, or any hopes that could be dashed, or whatever other reason someone might feel bad for a victim of something.

In the table example, the table is a victim of the spilled drink but that is a meaningless distinction because a table that is a victim is exactly the same as that same table when its not a victim.

You could say that the owner(s) of the business are the victims however, as they do have hopes and dreams and ambitions that are affected by these things. While you might still conclude the owners aren't owed any sympathy, its for different reasons than a table would receive no sympathy.

  • Its also possible that they did look him up but he was acting so outrageous he was still hard to believe or they still felt that he was having a mental breakdown.

The guy can be a member of the four tops and also have mental problems at a given time.

Why are we assuming either way?

The only poster I saw refuse to take one of the positions, and instead talk about mental health and medical care in general, got down voted but all of these posts where people immediately and aggressively pick a side are all up votes.

  • Its almost like treating opinions as facts leads to bullshit replies like this one.

The poster has an opinion and explained it well. They actually think Skyrim and Oblivion are bad games, what's so hard to believe?

  • This used to be a requirement but is now optional. For example, Mint, EndeavourOS, and PopOS all are distros that are simple to install and configure, even simpler than windows in most cases. Popos has a software store pre-installed that works exceptionally well and supports flatpaks too. Drivers work out of the box.

There are still the distros that are more complex as a rule, and you can also mess up the distros I mentioned above, but you no longer have to wade through a dark forest to get your computer running correctly for basic use.

Also if you game, the lutris and steam make it extremely easy to do. You really should try it if you haven't in a while, its impressive what those two pieces of software can do now.
