I mean, if your car is that old I'm guessing it probably doesn't have Android Auto anyways. There's probably a pretty small overlap between those that have it and those that don't sell data.
Idk how it's working for you guys, but I've not once had it actually shut down after clicking update and shut down. It always restarts myb once or twice and finishes at the lock screen, it just doesn't shut down. I always have to manually turn it off after it finishes.
No, because in most cases the most important information about a date is the day, then month, then year. It also matches the way we read dates. For the time it's typically the hour, then minutes, then seconds. YYYY/MM/DD is better when naming files, but in UIs I much prefer DD/MM/YYYY, it's just more natural to the way we read.
It seems you are correct. I had misunderstood how coax connections worked, I hadn't expected them to be capable of carrying that much data over a single cable.
I highly doubt it's anything. They're selfish egotistical people out for their own gains. Elon never cared for Trump or the Republicans, just about what made him the most money. Now he's buthurt and lashing out.
Honestly, I think it's a good idea. As long as it's clearly highlighted that "this is an AI generated summary", it could be very useful. I feel like a lot of people here have never tried to e.g. read a maths article without having a PHD in mathematics. I would often find myself trying to remember what a term means or how it works in practice, only to be met by a giant article going into extreme technical detail that I for the life of me cannot understand, but if I were to ask ChatGPT to explain it I would immediately get it.
If you're working on a large project/product then sure, but VS Code is just so damn good, it's so much fucking faster than IntelliJ, has so many more options and is typically just more intuitive to me. Whenever I can I typically use it.
I actually disagree, Elon has been a high profile, staunch supporter of the Republicans and Trump for a while now and was at a high level position with a lot of influence on the government (head of DOGE), and still has significant influence on Republicans, I think it's only natural to ask someone like that their opinions on government policy.
