Today I learned that not giving strangers MY money is, quite literally, punishing them

They're not my children, why should I as a taxpayer have to pay for them?

Giving them welfare just encourages this behavior, removes the consequences from their actions by shoving the cost onto the taxpayers.

We are paying money from the work we do, to pay for someone else's mistakes

Since when is this the taxpayers problem? The government has no business holding peoples hands through life. They can buy their own

Or how about we don't provide services for people who make obvious mistakes. I'd rather keep my tax money than it go to them

Lighting still has a ways to go. We got very good at faking lighting to look super realistic, but there's always improvements to be made.

To me, the best part about raytracing is that it doesn't rely on what's being rendered, you can see realistic reflections of what's behind you

I see your point, and agree with it. I'm sure a lot of it do it for the fame and it's not really about protecting the kids to them.

But, even if they're doing it for their own self-interest, they're still doing a good thing. You don't have to have good intentions to still promote positive change. I couldn't care less for the guilty people they find, good riddance, they don't belong in society.

That being said, if they falsely accuse people to try and keep growing their influence, then it becomes a problem
