TLDR: Indian government froze the bank accounts of an election competitor so he could not even pay the entry fee to compete. USA said that “we encourages fair, transparent, timely legal processes”. Indian governing party is offended at the accusation and summoned the US diplomat.

I don’t commute across time zones, but where I live is very rural and most things I need to travel east to nearest city almost 2 hours away. I may get better at it if I did it daily, but it is awful. I find it easiest to just add an hour to my travel time, but I also back myself up with entering a calendar event in my phone and setting the time zone. That being said, lots of people miss flights and other appointments. My wife missed my son’s dental appointment just last week
If you watch the video, it clearly didn’t seem like any kind of intentional intimidation. Definitely a whoopsie since brandishing is illegal in most but not his state. But we should be charitable to compensate for our own biases and I think the title is a bit misleading about the context
I don’t mean to have an emotional fist fight, and I think Israel has a bad track record for avoiding civilian casualties to say the least, but I don’t understand what Israel would have to gain by using expensive bombs on a cemetery. Just making sure we remain credible in our criticism of israel
