  • Apple wants you to know you lose access immediately. They probably had lots of complaints. Some places will grace out the rest of your subscription before removing access (netflix for example, lets you finish out the month you paid for, as expected). If I cancel service I paid for, and the month was already paid for, I expect service to remain active for what I've paid for.

  • You know what I hate about this? Somewhere someone is getting paid to allow the ag industry to slide on requirements, with the end result of people being poisoned. And we have zero say or representation.

  • I do. Anything I have to put a datecode on, always gets a stamp of YYYYMMDD.

  • I'm a systems guy. ISO8601 or die. Whomever decided to put the most significant digits at the end of MMDDYYYY can get fired. From a cannon. Into the sun.

  • Lackadaisy is absolutely incredible. The artwork is just gorgeous. Lots of love in that project. If you haven't yet, go see the short! They just announced a season!!!

  • He doesn't seem overly saturated, which I believe is typical for a cat.

  • All the cats we've had have had proper old English names. It's the dogs we give goofy names to. They're usually named after vacuum cleaners because of how well they clean up after the kids at the table :)

Hoover and Kirby were both great dogs.

  • Very much. I wake him up with gentle belly rubs and he gives me a nice kitty smile.

  • Foosball is the devil!

  • Doc is very handsome :)

  • I must make one... this is amazing!

  • I say rad near daily. Be the change you want to see in the world!

  • This is why I have GCode to unfail the print prior to resume. It Rehomes xy so it can pick up right where it left off even if things get moved.

  • Interesting technique. For this type of accent work I usually extrude the text into the surface 1-2 layers deep. At that layer I'll swap filaments, print 2 more, than swap back to my original color. This achieves the same effect in a slightly different way.

I have some Octoprint Pause scripting that will auto park the print head and lock all motors. It will hold the job while you swap filaments. Upon restart it will do a purge in place, rehome XY, then continue its job from its pause coords.
